It’s quite disheartening to see the corporate answer to the immense problem. Exacerbate it. The last thing we need is another industrial complex. Micro grid, community or self generated power. no gigantic nationwide nonsense.
We are completely foregoing power from tide which could power half of me population giving their proximity to it. No storage necessary ….
The entire issue boils down to two things. Both prerequisite absolutes.
End the extraction of fossil fuels. FULL STOP
Sequester at least 2,000,000,000,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.
WITHOUT THESE MEASURES, all else is ancillary.
Giving monetary value of carbon constituent structures, incentive is built in. The switch to renewable is not some ridiculous economy crashing dynamic, but the greatest economic opportunity in the history of legal tender. Instead, we have people following that paradigm without doing the prerequisites. Jesus, we suck …..
